How the wanderlust spirit seems to be a permanent state in the girl´s life.
Dusty memories of her last road trip in caramel, emerald and turquoise shades still fresh in her mind,
only make her crave for new destinations and unknown lands ready to be conquered by her rebellious essence and her high spirited vibes.
It´s that free untamed feeling on these shots that leaves a mark on her soul
and makes her think of golden brown, bronze horizons and lavender, ruby red skylines.
She pictures an adventure with no ending, just a long route of dreams ahead where she can trade secrets and blues for wisdom, experience and melodies.
A place where she can play her "Jesus Was a Capricorn" album really loud in the company of her love, some beer and the inspiring thoughts of a wild heart.
She wants to travel light. She wants dirty boots, cowboy hats, a loyal guitar, fringe jackets and tank tops with words that make her yell, "Hell, yes!".
She wants to close her eyes, feel the breeze, open her arms really wide, chase the wind, catch the sun,
ride the stars and make love under the desert sky till the moon shows some blush instead of light.
She feels like packing up her wishes and travelling outside the box. There´s too many places that she´s got to see.
The road is a friend. The road is a charmer. The road is a taker.
And he'll take her to places and make her fly higher than she's ever dared to.
The road and the girl need to meet soon and create some new memories.
They need to be prisoners of each other´s freedom to feel alive.

I finally made my three wishes and seeked for the universe complicity.
I was chased by a celebration of love and ended up making toasts flashing gold on the sea.
My soul greeted sweet emotions, my mind flew over cotton candy clouds and my heart stalked evening stars.
My birthday left a sky of chocolate, a field of wishes scattered like fresh strawberries and a mood of happy thoughts in the shape of multicolored confetti.
I got by with a little help of my wine, the ones close to my heart and my dear friend, Mr. pink champagne.
I did not leave any footprints on the beach but the echo of humming tunes, chocolate crumbs, poetic verses, sweet kisses and carnival smiles.
Like a ballerina, i danced in the sand amongst birthday candles and tried to swim to the moon under a silver horizon.
I laughed, i smiled, i partied, i lost myself in a captivating paradise.
The wind brought me some wings as a gift, the wild child inside me felt like playing with him.
That magical day taught me i have to grow but never grow up.
I want to skip that and go from one childhood to another, as Fitzgerald would say.
Always keep my inner child alive cause age doesn´t count. A young heart is all that matters.
A young heart, nice memories of floral haloes, good wishes left behind
and lovely messages from lovely people like you guys.

It´s time to travel out of my mind and let the wind carry me elsewhere for the next few days.
The sea has been whispering in my ear lately, he offered to host my birthday this year and i could not say no.
Ageless, wild and free, he is a loner but he loves an occasional company. Sometimes escapism is needed and the sea is the best partner in crime.
He´ll wash off unhappy thoughts and bless me with the hope of new dreams. His waves will be like poetry, i´ll get inspired and my heart will speak on my behalf.
I´ll dance in floral dresses with feathers in my hair and make my whimsical thoughts and kaleidoscope wishes spin like disco balls under a tangerine sky.
This saturday, I´ll be counting the stars when the magic starts and the candles lit up.
An exquisite chocolate cake will steal the attention, i´ll have the ones i love by my side,
the music that feeds my soul, glasses in pink and lovely wishes in line.
I´ll close my eyes and wonder if i can sail through the changing ocean tides of my life.
I´ll smile right away though, i can feel new winds blowing for me. It´s good to know the moon will always be there to guide me.
Then, i´ll blow out the candles and enjoy some cake surrounded by love.

.We must learn to reawaken and keep ourselves awake by an infinite expectation of the dawn.

The girl with love in her eyes and magical horns in her hair will be blowing out some candles soon
and she can´t help but feel she needs to be more in touch with her animal side this time.
Even when she feels like a little doe most of the time, afraid of the unknown but also anxious to grow up a little bit more than the day before,
she knows she needs to run wild, she can´t silence her howling side. The wolf inside her wants to growl non stop from dusk till dawn.
She wants this year to be sort of a spell, something enchanting, powerful where dreams and wishes collide
to show nothing but beauty in the universe constantly unfolding before her.
She wants unexpected adventures, midnight howls under the stars, new winds of hope blowing through her carnival dresses right into her soul,
the magical touch of the sun when the thoughts refuse to face the marmalade skies, the intense gleam of the wise moon
when she doubts to trust her instincts instead of her mind.
She is like the sweet heart of a deer but she needs the strength of a wolf to get by and feel alive.

I see glittery horns and loud howls pointing at the sky. That´s a good sign.
I feel good things are arising.
I´ll just let the sky whisper them directly into my wild heart.

There´s nothing like feathered afternoons amongst chardonnay glasses and blossomed flowers
and husky nights loving by the moon under disco balls to enjoy a new year.
Thoughts of new adventures like colored fireworks. Hopes like tiny mirrors spinning around our free souls.
And a decision of thinking a little bit more with the heart and a little less with the mind this time.
Like the moon, part of me is always hidden away. My heart is wild but also fragile.
Fears are still unpleasant ghosts that haunt me every now and then.
These new days taught me that i need more magic and less ghosts from now on.

Sylvia Plath is right. I want all that. I´m ready for MORE beautiful things that make my heart pound.

We said goodbye to another year to welcome a new one a few stars ago.
The old year faded behind the moonlight while the youngest made his way like a shooting star.
After midnight, a few notes written in stardust fell from the sky. They sounded like the best piece of advice.

These next 365 days...
´Stay hungry. Stay foolish.

Stay curious. Stay wild.
Keep your heart young. Keep your dreams alive.
Lose your fears. Say yes to new experiences.
Keep inspired. Believe in something.
Feed your days with magical moments.

Don´t take life too seriously´

After too many "happy new years", i came to the conclusion that "new" can be scary
but equally exhilarating. Changes are good and i´m ready to face them.
"New" is good but i decided that "happy" is the word i´m borrowing this year.
I want to be happy above all, with simple things, with people, with life.
So, 2012 put a spell on me. Make me love you from day one.
See? First ´love´of the year and it already feels right.

Let´s keep those fireworks going and Happy New Everything, then.
Remember,` it´s all happening´!.

The girl of blonde hair and kaleidoscope eyes got carried away in a celebration where love was the main guest.
Friends, family and a festive universe winking at her was all she needed that day.
When the clock struck midnight, the little girl inside her smiled.
The sky brought fireworks. The stars flirted with the fairylights inside.
She got lost in a labyrinth of unwrapped gifts, naughty mistletoes, wild kisses, loud music
and exquisite bottles of pink champagne which made her say merci beaucoup and je t´aime more than once.
Her wishes played with the cheerful bubbles in her glass. Her dreams danced with the colorful sky.
She lost track of toasts and danced barefoot in a carnival dress until the sun woke up.
When her eyes felt tired, she put on her Holly Golightly sleep mask and dropped on her pillow like a falling star.
The last thing she remembered was a smile on her face.
She felt so lucky. She felt loved.
Everything was golden and eternal. lt was enough.

I just love that magical state when you can´t control where imagination goes.
It´s that time of the day when the blue velvet sky cast a spell on your pillow,
wishes and dreams meet and thoughts are hypnotized by the charm of the night.
Reality behaves like a mere spectator in a play and you just try to hang on to that hazy but appealing fantasy.
A fantasy that is in desperate need to speak to you. One that wants to be part of that reality once and for all.
You see, there are nights when the wolves are silent and the moon is the one that howls.
And you realise that impossible things are not that crazy under the stardust.
Sometimes they even become a possibility by the time the eyelashes flirt with the sun.
I guess the heart is never silent. He always speaks, even in your sleep.
Just open your soul, the universe is constantly unfolding in front of your eyes.
Turn can´ts into cans.
Let all of life be an unfettered howl.

I hitched a ride with the wind and since he was my friend, i let him decide where we´d go.
Like a little doe i tiptoed behind his undeniable charm and he swept me off my feet really fast.
He put his arm around us and watched us play hide and seek between heaven and earth.
I was the one who sought, he was the one hidding behind my smile.
The wind played with our feathers pointing at the sky and we felt like children of the sun.
Colors constantly shimmered through the dusty haze. Lights moved quickly through the turquoise sky.
We danced barefoot feeling the warm touch of the the sand. We spinned really fast and turned into gods and goddesses with the blink of an eye.
We professed the use of wild feathers, spirited thoughts and sweet bird songs and achieved eternal bliss.
The wild tangerine fireball above us witnessed our joy until we collapsed on the grass. Our bodies ached but our souls smiled.
Once again i fell in love with Mother Nature. I closed my eyes and heard the wind whispering in my ear...

“Wild hearts can´t be broken. Your dreams will come true. One for each feather, i promise. Just hang on to those”.

I smiled. I knew he was right. I just needed to want things with all my heart.
He knew what was best for me and i just needed to fall in love with him like i always do.
I said to myself, ´listen to him´.
The answer IS blowing in the wind, after all.

Dear universe, dazzle me and leave me breathless like Godard

Oh, là là! What you did to me, Jean-Luc Godard.

Sometimes it just takes a movie to help you escape reality for a little while.
And you know you chose the right movie when there´s Paris in the 60´s, the beginning of the French New Wave, a black and white atmosphere,
the romance between a sweet american girl like Jean Seberg and a french sexy heavy smoker bad boy like Belmondo and of course,
a talented Truffaut behind the story and Goddard behind the camera.
I believe when you have this kind of fascinating inspiration, you have to go with the flow.
It´s so much fun to play a character every once in a while and something inside me knew Patricia Franchini would understand me perfectly.
Once again, she seduced me and i was right. A curious, sometimes confused careless girl hungry for adventure who plays it cool but often can´t light a cigarette properly because she´s afraid of too many things in life and likes to dream, flirt and smile instead, sounds just like me. At least for now.
I guess finding who you are is an everyday task, right? Well, right now i´m an everyday learner. "Une apprenante".
But there´s one thing i know for sure, simple things that make you happy are the ones that make a girl light a cigarette at once.
Watch that exquisite long scene in the bedroom in "À bout de souffle" where Michel and Patricia stay in bed, laughing, fooling around, making plans between striped clothes, fedora hats, kisses and Parisienne cigarettes and you´ll know what i´m talking about.
I might not be in Paris yet but sometimes a good movie, french fries, milkshakes, a few cigarettes
and love between the sheets is enough happiness for a girl like me.

She wants to act like summer and dance by the sea.

Wandering by lone sea-breakers. And sitting by desolate streams.
World losers and world forsakers. On whom the pale moon gleams.

This week i´ve been thinking of the sea.
Of how good it makes me feel whenever i´m overwhelmed by nostalgia and melancholy.
Such beautiful loner, a constant inspiration that keeps so many secrets and whispers between messy untamed waves.
Sometimes you just need the sea.
You just feel like closing your eyes, spreading your wings and taking deep breaths in front of him.
You love that moment when you both meet, each time it´s different but equally special , monotony fades and there´s a sense of escape, of hope where the horizon flirts with the sky. I know it´s a cliché but he never fails to keep my soul free, young, wild and awake.
The sea is so alive and wise, he constantly invites you to be an adventurer and sail in high winds. He gives me strength, he makes me happy.
It´s his whimsical enchanting mood that always makes me smile with my lips or my eyes.
These beautiful pictures proved the sea has a magical effect. They persuaded me and once again, i fell in love with him.
I travelled in my mind and felt like a mermaid married to the sea.
I danced barefoot in fluffly pastel dresses, mesmerized by his gentle touch, singing lullabies while my hair tangled up in the wind and my toes played with the sand.
I recited poetry under a lavender sky, the water listened carefully and for a moment she washed off nostalgia from my heart.
I remained silent and watched my dreams floating on the sea. I guess i often swim in my head but i always prefer his company.
Recently i heard that ´nostalgia is denial. A flaw in the romantic imagination of those people who find it difficult to cope with the present´.
That might be right but it does not have to be bad.
Nostalgia also keeps me alive. It keeps me hungry for better things to come.

I'm like Cat here. We're a couple of no-name slobs.

.I´m a dreamer. I love wild things and looking at the sky.
I like milk but prefer coffee and pink bubbles on my whiskers.
I meow fluently in lyrics and movie lines but i ocassionally howl.
I believe in being haunted by the moon, not only today but everyday of the year.
I´m not afraid of ghosts or witches. Failed dreams are what scares me.
I believe in magic. I wish i could live more than one life at a time.

My wild side put a spell on me on Halloween and decided i´d be Holly Golightly, the cat, the no name slob, this year.
Possessed by the Tiffany lover with a fancy cigarette holder in one hand and a glass of milk in the other, i mingled between festive confetti, beer in pumpkins, spooky masks and kaleidoscopic candy. The words you read above were written in a little tag added on my costume.
This way i could just stick to meows and a few trick or treats between whiskered yes and nos most of the night.
Not too much talking needed. After all, body language is what´s so expressive in cats, right?
I also think it felt good when people smiled at the words on my trench coat. It was like an open paper heart out in the universe to be seen.
For a moment i stopped thinking of the girl i wanna be and simply enjoyed the night moving my tail like a restless brush.
Holly Golightly, the cat, made me realise i´m still figuring out who i am. It takes time.
Candy wrappers and fun masks were already asleep on the floor, when the moon whispered in my ear.
"Leave the cage and keep your fears in there for once. There's still a lot of world to see. You´re a wanderer, get lost and find your own Tiffany´s"

This is a girl who enjoys a cup of hot chocolate while watching Dr Zhivago for the hundredth time in the company of her loyal cat.
She is a helpless romantic with a wild spirit who loves romance, as much as floral dresses, hippie vests and suede boots.
For her, cold seasons don´t have to be dull.
When it´s too cold, she wraps herself in fur and hitches a ride with the wind.
She dreams of meeting a doctor who can write poetry with her name and watch old love stories by her side.

These girls like to dress up in glamorous boho chic clothes and crash rock concerts.

They like to walk together in flashing colors and textures and behave like rock stars girlfriends. They like to sneak backstage and exchange love for songs.
They believe cold seasons can be warm. When the night is over, they grab their clothes and shoes and tiptoe out of the room between asleep guys, bottles of whisky and guitar picks. They like to skip bedtime and stay up gossiping about the boys. When hangover is gone, they like to enjoy dawn in the country. They love to hitch a ride with the wind, singing the songs they love, dancing under marmalade skies, until they fall exhausted on the grass. They take off their hats and platforms, their fur coats become their beds and they lay there in their chiffon dresses and lovely smiles. Wild spirits need some peace and quiet every now and then.

Wildflowers don't care where they grow. And i don´t care if they are boho or folk.
In the end, they both inspire madly.

there´s a girl who dances with the stars too much and gets lost in the sun too often. a girl who, wrapped in veils and playing old melodies
in company of her merry tambourine, reveals her simplicity and anxiety to be constantly happy.
it is the sole sound of that tiny but meaningful word that frightens her the most and makes her doubt if happiness is a luxury that just a few are lucky enough to enjoy. she knows the idea of being wrong or having her heart broken is what truly terrifies her. she usually wants impossible and irresistible things, the kind of things that would become a passion in her life and she wonders if she´ll be able to handle that kind of ectasy.
even when she knows where she is standing right now, she sometimes feels far away from this world.
she is always desperate to make her dreams come true. she wishes they could become real just by batting her eyelashes.

.Confessions of a vintage girl inspired by Keith Richard´s masterpiece, "Life".

What do you do when you are surprisingly ready for a party and you have some time left? You trip over Keith Richard´s "Life" and you devour it like the first time. Such "literature" feels so familiar when you feel so close to a certain icon like Keith Richards. After all, he is my favorite Stone, kind of my spirit animal whose wild side is is too tempting to resist. This book has me under a spell everytime. It´s such an entertaining, captivating monologue, an arousing, provocative sometimes funny journey through the life of a man who had a guitar for a first love, knew every pleasure, lived many lives in one, experienced everything, denied himself nothing, flirted with most vices, never paid the price and miraculously survived. Pages back and forth make us voyeurs of his magical disturbingly fascinating roller-coaster of excesses, success, sex, drugs and rock n´roll. Nothing boring about that. We get on a turbulent hellbound train chased by cops, by cold turkey or by simple cats wanting a piece of their favorite outlaws in between shows. We become muses of inspirations like Ruby Tuesday, You Got The Silver, Sister Morphine, Wild Horses, Angie, Beast Of Burden, She Smiled Sweetly, Let's Spend The Night Together, She's Like A Rainbow and feel like being called Keith, Pallenberg, Faithfull, Hansen, to name a few. We witness how the Glimmer romance develops thanks to a guitar god named Chuck Berry, we get excited with the birth and rise of the band with the name of a Muddy Water´s song, fall in love and have our hearts broken more than once, visit the most exotic places, lose ourselves in the back of a Bentley somewere between Barcelona and Valencia, start a family, learn how to play an open five-string tunning, drift into heroin along with cocaine and the usual friend, Mr. Jack Daniels, compete and hang out with the fab four every now and then, party with famous models and artists, get high, drunk, inspired, write lyrics and play the guitar day and night, tour for decades, sleep just a bit and experience the heaven and hell of a great artist soon to become a rock legend. After closing the book, the clear thing on your mind is that Keith is no ordinary human being but i guess we all knew that already, right?. I´m quite sure he had a sympathy for the devil thing when he was young and sold his soul many decades ago. I don´t find another answer to his survival after such wild ride.
The good thing is that this beautiful talented son of a bitch is still rocking like a beast. Hopefully, he´ll play Malagueña for many more centuries.

This book got the silver, the gold, anything needed for my heart to pound. Thank god i had read it twice before cause i had to pause it this time. When the boy sees you cheating with Keith, you know it´s time to go. I did pause it but not so soon and here´s the result. He played with the camera for a little while cause he knows he can´t compete with the man on the book cover. I guess, you can´t always get what you want. I needed some Keith to get the party started. Besides, the party wasn´t going anywhere. Well, Keith wasn´t either but that book is so fucking out of this world. You get me, right? If you don´t, why are you still reading this?
Go, get it and rock on!.

It´s mainly 1970´s Cher that makes me fall in love with this woman and add her to my list of fashion icons. Tall, extra thin, long legged amazon with the most amazingly perfect longest dark hair i´ve ever seen. A woman who could be a hippie wearing natural make up and simple headpieces, a cowgirl with cool hats and country boots, a Navajo beauty wrapped in turquoise and suede clothes or even a glamorous diva in fur coats and see-through stunning dresses.
Cher was a stylish, gorgeous chameleon back then. A true fashion icon.
I feel like sharing my main muses and their great styles with you from now on. I´ve written about them already but not about their fashion style which truly inspire me in my everyday life. She was the faintest scent of a cactus flower, the flitting shadow of an elf owl.
In our minds, we tried to pin her to corkboard like a butterfly,
but the pin merely went through and away she flew...

Unexpected reflections from reality, restless dreams and haunting sounds of silence keep tangling up with personal emotional rescues,
a perfect kiss, an intoxicating poem, a moving song, a true smile. For me, simple things are a girl´s best friend.
I´m a girl who prefers a headpiece of flowers to a necklace of jewels. A girl who prefers diamonds in the sky where wishes rest near winking lights to a material life with no passion and heart. A girl who prefers drinks, music and a bonfire with friends and family to a glamorous party.

The catwalk space became a festival tent with a stage and camper van up at the top with the models – or rather festival-goers – stepping and rocking out onto the muddied catwalk, which became the downfall of one as her stiletto wellington boot got stuck.To crowd cheers, they walked beer in hand and fringed bag over shoulder – beaten up denim and studded jackets across their backs and mini denim shorts, studded belts, heavily and overly embellished waistcoats of Seventies hippy style, glittered eyes, glittered T-shirts or those with American flags wound round them, hats, mini skirts, maxi billowy skirts , fringing, sequins.
These girls had stayed out all night long and the next morning the party was only just beginning all over again.

Last saturday´s simplicity was pleasantly disturbed when the word "Performance" slipped out of my mouth.

The sound of one word and the smiles of the girls in return was enough to turn the afternoon into a fun rollercoastered ride.

A sudden invitation into Mick and Anita´s bizarre lysergic world of madness and mind games was too tempting to decline.
It had been a while since i had dived into that crazy cocktail of sex, drugs and rock n´roll, best known as Cammell´s creation
and though a few details were forgotten, the memory of a lovely bohemian lifestyle remained.
Within minutes, the room became an amusing wonderland where girls with flowers on her clothes and glasses of wine in their hands
danced around wrapped in colorful veils, falling on shiny cushions every now and then,
near scented candles enjoying every inch of Jagger´s psychedelic universe.
What can i say? We got a little bit inspired.
Immersed in a conversation of pop art, the nostalgia of the swinging sixties, Anita´s beauty and Mick´s dark hair and black eyes
which seemed too much, we realised "Memo from Turner" had been on repeat for a while and the wine and the movie were equally over.
Funny part happened when the boy came in and found fantasyland right in front of his eyes. Only proper answer,
"The only performance that makes it, that makes it all the way, is the one that achieves madness".
There you go, baby.

Lately, the need of distraction and romance caught me reading poetry and Kerouac´s wisdom under the light of a full moon.
Refillable mugs of black coffee on the floor, the comfort of dusty leather boots and the sound of old country ballads flirting with rock n´roll songs
was everything i needed to let myself go in a world of appealing inspiration before dawn.
The last star finally said goodbye when i found myself enjoying some guitar chords and writing again, to my surprise.
I say, ´to my surprise´ cause i hadn´t done that in a while.
Like a rider on virgin territories, I filled empty sheets with new and familiar words for a while.
And it felt good, as if some weight was brushed off inside.
Like Joni, who once taped her regrets to the microphone stand, i captured my thoughts and dreams on a bunch of blank pages.
I guess the child in me still has things to say and yet the grown-woman in me has things to learn.
Life should always be seen as an open road, don´t you think?.
Hopefully, i´ll never run out of pages to fill from now on.

What do you get from a fun afternoon watching "Taking Woodstock" and "Hair"?
This perfect boho outfit for my best friend´s birthday party.
And if you happen to find these lost hand painted pants in the back of the closet,
it´s like tasting the cherry on the birthday cake way before any of the other guests.
Sure i´m not a pants girl, I basically have a pair of black tights in my bag along with my Ray Bans and my mascara
but come on, bell bottoms are another thing, hardly pants.
This vintage babe and American Gold/Spanish Moss bell bottoms must be the only pants i truly drool over.
I have to admit that with the right shoes, that lovely hat and my Jagger holding my hand, i was feeling a little bit Faithfullesque and i just loved the feeling.
The celebration went by between mellow Zeppelin songs, happy drunk friends, sweet red wine, midnight catchy guitar riffs, exquisite chocolate cake and what seemed like neverending bottles of champagne. You could say we had our own Rock n´Roll Circus.
Between you and me, I was no woman unkind at the end of the night.
I shared a few cigarettes and at least a bottle of wine.
Thank god no Keith Richards asked me to share my pants.
I wouldn´t have been so kind, even with him and i love the guy. I guess, flower is power after all.

The exhilarating need of a new adventure is all i can think of lately. It´s growing inside me like a howl of a wolf. How much i love road trips.
Wandering in my thoughts, I realised I forgot most of last escapade and today blurry memories are the only thing left.
Maybe my nostalgia is the result of watching movies like "Wild At Heart" or "Easy Rider" lately or i should just blame it on Kerouac´s "On The Road" copy
that i devoured once again. Whatever it was, i felt like driving far away with no other direction than the one of the wind.
Leave the known behind, welcome the unkwown ahead sounds tempting, right?
I wish i could get lost and enjoy a new ride right now but life gets in the way most of the time.
Inspiration like this helps, though. Lost in a mental adventure will have to work for the moment.

Three simple words when used alone, not so much when adding some personal thoughts.
Lately, my life has become a ying yang universe where thoughts and feelings, present and past are opposing forces struggling in a single reality.
And i´m in the middle, seeking balance, fading through that reality, lingering long in dreamtime, getting lost in changing skies,
looking through multi colored spectacles, paying attention to wishes and plans.
I guess i find it a bliss when imagination is fully seduced by unknown "what if-s" that eventually become facts.
Right now, it would be so nice if something made sense for a change.
And yet i know that if i had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense.

All i know is that changing skies deserve a warm welcome with an open heart and an open mind.

It´s somehow lovely when you get to embrace your spirit animal when feeling vulnerable.
You know "vulnerable", that word that sways on the thin line between virtue and flaw,
a word that is good when showing an open heart but not so much when tears are involved.
See, vulnerable is like being a cellophane wrapper on a pack of Marlboros.
Strong on the outside but easily fragile.
Knowing myself i could have let my human side prevail while drowning in a boring sea of possible whys
but this time i worked on feeling better, instead of looking for vague answers.
Feeling better meant resort to my spiritual side.
The result, i became my spirit animal for a little while.
Lit some candles, gathered my pack and we howled under the moon wishing upon the stars, allowing the universe to speak to us with positive vibes.
Thinking less and trusting the instincts more was in fact a much more amusing choice.
The lesson learned when dropping the mask and the faux fur coat before becoming a loner again while kissing the night goodbye...
when nature invites you to walk on the wild side, always say yes and embrace the animal in you.
In the end, we all love an untamed heart.
It´s the one thing that keeps us happy and alive.

The thing is that i´d have pastel skies everyday and wander sunsets barefoot dreaming with my eyes closed, if i could.

It´s funny how sometimes we avoid living and settle for the "existence" card, instead.
It´s a matter of self defense nature vs the wild spirit who wants to remain untamed.
We´re afraid of being hurt or broken, of the unknown or what might not turn out the way we expect
And we stand still when we are supposed to live and learn from experiences.
I think of life as an open book with blank pages ready to be filled with those living experiences.
Found myself writing a little list these days between sips of strawberry tea and sweet drops of red wine
in the company of Joni Mitchell´s foggy lullabyes. and this is what i found in ink so far...

.Sometimes i do forget that the universe is infinite and there are endless possibilities out there waiting for us.
Such concept that some might find quite scary, i actually find quite appealing.
Sounds like more than one adventure around the corner and that can´t be bad.
I always try to be optimistic even in those dazed and confused moments when the universe is not that revealing.
And if that doesn´t work, i know i can always resort to my friends and my universe for some inspiration.
This weekend was all about memories, inspiring words, great music, friends, red wine, fries and delicious submarine sanwiches.
And this time, Jim and his poetry were the special guests.
I chose this cheerful poncho to celebrate such fun time. I must say we´re having a romance. I feel like my soul is left to wander in it.
I guess i´m lost sometimes but when i open my kaleidoscope eyes really wide i realise in the end, i´m a true lucky little lady.

When you got the blues, there is nothing better than champagne and the usual partners in crime to cheer you up.
Getting ready for a costume party can be a real hell if you have no extra time but a fun roller coaster if you have a closet full of colors.
Either way it did not seem a piece of cake at first yesterday but between inspiring bubbles and a whole pile of clothes on my bed,
a lovely icon came to the rescue when i was ready to give up. "Breakfast at Tiffany´s" was on tv and suddenly i knew who i was going to be.
I decided i was going as Holly Golightly, the dreamer.

A pair of black tights, a long white shirt, a couple of turquoise rings and the proper eye mask were enough. The outfit was just what i needed.
I felt light as a feather, carefree as the whisper of the wind. Like a free spirit, indeed. After all, "less IS more".

P.s: Best thing, I realised i was ready for bed when i got back home.
Just laid my head on the pillow, covered my eyes with the eye mask and hoped for sweet dreams.

When you listen to an album like "Abbey Road" with just 3 years old like me and you start smiling like crazy like i did, you know you´re screwed.
It´s like love at first sight. Beautiful, intense and sudden.
What can i say? I knew i´d have a romance with The Beatles for life.
I realised in time that my soul was destined to be made of sweet rock n´roll
and learned to say yes to every wild ride that involves those three sacred words.
Yesterday was one of those magical rides.
A Beatles show to attend, some wine that got in the way, the usual crazy girlfriends ready to travel back in time and the fab four albums winking at us ended with these crazy pictures of beatlemania. For some time, the floor became a strawberry field, the ceiling became a sky with diamonds and we pictured how it would be to live in a yellow submarine. It was our little rehearsal, our little tribute before hitting the road for the real great one.
It is the least i could do.
After all, they introduced me to Rock N´Roll.

Today the pictures are vintage, i hope you don´t mind but i found them so inspiring.
They made me realise how different the world looked back then and once more i wish we could go back to the time of peace and love and flower power.
Like i said before, i would love it if life was about what record to play first or what festivals to attend but i know reality has different plans most days.

That was the line written all over... yesterday.
I could not refuse such tempting offer when it involved great company, red wine and The Rolling Stones as the hosts of the night.
You know how it goes. Rock n´roll, wine, memories and laughs making a move all at once. The head becomes a little bit dizzy, the spirit starts dancing, you let Jagger´s voice put a spell on you and you´re suddenly happier. Time fades, you see a couple of empty bottles, the grey sky stops being shy, the stars come out to have fun, and then you know it was an excellent choice to say yes when you heard the knock on the door.
Totally worth it even if you have a massive headache when you wake up.
Too bad life can´t be just about having fun all the time.
If only decisions in life were about how many bottles of wine to taste or what record to enjoy first.
If only...

There´s something about kimonos that make me feel like a siren in the sea. I just feel better when i slip into one.

Was the first thing i grabbed this morning when waking up to a shy sun and Cat Steven´s "Oh, baby, baby, it's a wild world..."
After a long daydreaming week and an even longer friday night of cheerful laughs, old friends, bottles of merlot, dusty records
and some guitar chords leaded by Dylan´s voice, i knew today was one of those days when you just have to keep it simple.

A kimono, a few incense sticks, a cup of coffee, a warm bed and a good book seem like a great escapism. It´s good to have some peace and quiet.
After all, there will be time for wine stained lips and new soothing rhymes when the night falls down.

Came across this beautiful vest while going through some boxes. What can i say? It´s good to be surprised by something in suede and mainly when it´s not just another vest. To me it´s special cause it belonged to my mom, who made it herself, in the 70´s. She loved, ok loves fashion and used to make most of her clothes following the style in magazines. Decades later this creation belongs to me. In my life "Vintage" will never get old.
What happened made me realise that "Find" is my key word latey.
I´m constantly searching who i am and what my role is in this place called universe. It´s always "find" something.
Find a new way. Find a new dream. Find a new passion. Find a new illusion everyday.
In the end i do believe there are better things ahead than the ones we leave behind.

I´ve been spending these days in a room of veils and a floor of purple flowers while listening to Fleetwood Mac. "Gypsy" in particular got me inspired.
You know it´s funny how sometimes lyrics tell a story that sounds so familiar, nostalgia just escapes from your soul and all of the sudden you are back travelling down memory lane. You feel like a child again, a child whose life needed no direction, a child who felt anything but lost.
As the song goes, i do sometimes feel like that gypsy who faces freedom with a little fear. Freedom is a priceless value and fear is just an annoying trap.
I´m working on that last part, though. As much as i would love to have a crystal ball that could help me get a clear picture of my life right now, i think i´ll find a better answer in my heart. The heart is honest. The mind is tricky. First one, wins.
I was once told to dance away from my fears and always listen to what the heart has to whisper. Those words seem perfect now.
After all, the heart is the best crystal vision i could ever have.

Have you ever confused a dream with life?

Wish i could rest all day in the sun until the beauty of the stars get some sleep in my hair.
But as much as i would love that, thoughts, anxieties and responsibilities get in the way and all i can do it wait.
Wait for that moment when i finally get to close my eyes, head on the pillow, waiting for the night to work its charm.
Wine might be the one to blame or the one to thank but i must say that dreams have been really kind to me lately.
Dreams make me sigh while reality wants to crush me most of the time. What can i say? Right now dreams work better than reality for me.
After all, i was born a dreamer...

These pictures of me reflect how i feel right now. Like a flower in desperate need for growth.
Trying to leave my fears on the ground looking for answers in the whisper of the wind, getting in touch with my desire to be free.
I want my life to be a great big canvas to paint it wildly with intoxicating colorful touches.
I don´t want to choose only one shade. I want to paint my life like i did with my petaled partner in crime.
